SJIthingy
yesterday went to SJI(st.josephs instituition)i keep saying st.johns institution. how dumb can i get.boo. met yutian at the mrt. kimberly's mum fetched us there.thanks! ((: on the way saw a bunch of sec3s walking together. si yun,ethel,si en,(a few others,cant rmb who)-bad memory waved to them. siyun gave me the confused look.haha. saw nienping,tabitha,peiying and karyee at the gate waiting.(think tats all) went in.the school was at some totally ulu place.scary.it was like damn forested or sth lorr. nien ping and me are the only ones in our groups)): many groups also very little people.haha. so we merged groups with two others.then we were called group 2((; ahaha.our original group's facilitator had a reall funny name. hes a guy(duh)and his name is shannon. i always thought that only a girl could be named shannon. so i kept laughing when he said"my name is shannon".then i burst out laughing. i know im damn mean kae?but i just couldnt control. the nien ping laughed when i laughed.them she told me to stop laughing. i tried.it worked for a few seconds.then i laughed again. then he said "why u all keep laughing?" then i laughed even louder. ---boring introduction--- ---ice breakers--- liked the 'blow wind blow'game((: went around in our groups to the various stations to play the games.((: 1st stop:u had to use tables to cross over to the otehr side w/o touching the groung or else u had to start over. u had to bring along 2poles along with u too. the fastest group wins. thought we were gonna lose. cos then other team already had a plan and had already started. we didnt have a complete plan and have not started. started later. we were close at the end.(they lost partly because of their pole--it got stuck below the table) WE WON!whoohoo!! i remembered the game after lunch was where: u had to pair up with someone(we thought MUST be a guides with a scout)-luckily it did not turn out this way.phew. u had to use honey(to make it stick to your nose)and cotton bud. then stick it onto both your noses(u n your partner) then walk some distance to the tray,put it inside.-each cotton bud was worth 20points. if u gropped it on the floor or anywhere,start again. the group,after 15mins,who had the most points wins. i paired up with rebecca cheah.(sec3)she was reall nice((: got reall sticky with honey.grossed out.yew. dunnno who won.-who cared about winning when we were all sticky and cottony. :/ there was another station that consisted 3activities. 1.eat an apple. -all the guides in our group did it. -it was at a distance away. -we had to run,take a bite out of it,run back. -we had to do this consistantly till we reached the core of the apple. -we lost by abit)): --anyways,in the competing team, the scouts did it,they had BIG MOUTHS. 2.use a skipping rope(made of rubber bands) and the whole group had to jump 10 times CONTINUOUSLY (2 people held at the sides) -we didnt really do well in the front. -then the other team won. -then we persisted and finally did it!((: 3.kick the chpteh 10 times CONTINOUSLY -the other team won once again.lucky them. -our team sucked at this though it was fun seeing the scouts trying to make 10.haha((: -then we really couldnt make 10.so bessy said 5 will do.haha. -we still couldnt. -then the girls tried.still no luck. -then they just said nevermind,we passed.because we really took too long.haha. at our last station(i think) we had to rearrange the tables into the sequence they told us to. -our competing team,apparently,did not come. -so we spilt ourselves,sec3s(scouts) one side,the rest the other. -our team had more people.but the sec 3 team always won by like 1or2 seconds.haha. -1st round:guides on tables.scouts on chairs. -2nd round:scouts on tables.guides on chairs. -3rd round:scouts and guides on tables. -this station was quite fun though((: we didnt get to play one game though)): heard from people that the game was fun. anyways,the game went like this: -you had to blindfold yourself -walk to a pail then pick a utensil out. -use that utensil and scoop out as many marbles as possible.--the marbles were in flour. -walk back,still blinfolded. haha.((: our group WON 3RD PLACE!! :D whoo hoo! ((: got chips and pepsi. selfish SJI people.--sec2s and1s,i guess. was pissed off at some points though.URGHH. had a reall nice time((: looking forward to next weeks guides session :D |
